Throughout the interior, we both refurbished architectural elements such as trim, doors and hardware, while also cutting large openings throughout the house to connect the living spaces and allow natural light to reach all the way through the house. From the front door, one can see fully through the house to the backyard. Likewise, the open stair creates inter-floor connections and brings a sense of intimacy to the house while simultaneously making it feel more spacious.
